1 piece glass/power windows 4 sale
I've got a kit that I bought from Brothers and now wanting to buy the new vent window assy. instead. The kit has the power window reg. included and the glass is tinted.I want to sell this kit and I'll take $500.00 plus shipping for it. Going by the cost this is a very fair price.

Low68, thanks for the pic, that did help explain what you did and I hadn't thought of that. I'm going to try rebuilding my upper hinge first (friction pads, retainers, etc.) and if that don't work, I'm going to copy your mod to a T. Thanks again for posting that pic, it gets old have to push that stop plate in when I close the door. I was just afraid to grind anymore on my stop plate.
BIG ORANGE, killer price on the window kit and regs. If somebody is serious about converting over to one piece glass with power regulators, I would jump on that deal. If I had a 2wd project to start working on already, I would buy it myself and save about $100.

Hey ED. Its me again. My regulators work really nice, no binding or anything abnormal. They are not new though. When I roll down the window, the back corner edge of the glass hits the rear channel. The rear channel cannot be bolted in the jam of the door because of the latch. I have talked to other people and they said they just leave it loose. Even when I left it loose it would hit and pop the glass out of the sash that it sits in. So I removed the bolt and ground down on the rear channel and it got better, but just doesn't work right. The passenger side is really bad and the drivers binds every once in a while. But explaining to passengers how to roll down a window sucks.
Now, how well does the outside weatherstrip seal on your truck??? Mine does not at all. The rubber contacts for the first 2" in the back and then does not seal at all. The water just runs down the glass and into the door. And up front where there is a bend in the chrome for where the vent window used to be they bend in the wrong spot. I've got two sets of these from you and they always are bent in the wrong spot. Is there one I can get from you with NO bends in it and also maybe taller rubber so I can get it to seal?? Just wondering

Mothertruckers (Ed)
I did receive the friction pucks and plates. Haven't had time to install them yet. Regardless of whether or not they fix my problem, I need them anyway. I'll get the money sent off to you ASAP. Sorry about that, I didn't forget about you, just haven't got that far yet.

I have to bring this back to the top. I just finished installing my one piece kit from Brothers and power window kit from A-1 Electric, and that is the coolest sh!t ever. I'm not sure how everyone who had problems put the kit together, but it was the easiest thing I have done to my truck so far, and that includes bolting on the new wheels. Everything works real smooth and sweet. I couldn't be happier. The one complaint I have is a very small one, but the only thing I was not completely happy with is where the bend is on the scraper, it seems to be about an 1/8" too far foreward and doesn't line up with the indention on the door, but who cares. I can roll my passenger window down without reaching over and cranking it.
