Rear end set up
i just started on the rear Suspension of my 49 truck and i went out and bought a ford 8.8 rear end out of a 2002 ford crown vic. cop car. So i start out w/ this rear end but what next? i want to grab the 4link off of suicides doors, i think just the universal one they sell. but then i need coils? maybe a photo or 2 for help. thanks ahead of time guys

Re: Rear end set up
i have not set up a four link before but to the best of my guessing you have two options.
1. four link, air bags to control height and I think work like a coil spring too and shocks to make it ride smoother. 2. four link, and coil over shocks which have some adjustment on ride height on them but not as much as the bags. i could be wrong though.

Re: Rear end set up
That about right.
Also could add ART shock waves to the list which is an air bag around an adjustable shock Brian ...
