Re: A few pictures of the shop Burb

We lowered it with the McGaughys drop stuff we sale. We have 2-1/2in drop spindals with a 1in drop spring in the front and a 5in drop spring in the rear.

I'd give it a 2nd look, just cause I've got that disease. That's what a parts chaser is supposed to look like anyway.

Re: A few pictures of the shop Burb

Did you have to mod the rear shock mounts with the 5" drop?

Re: A few pictures of the shop Burb

Thats way cooler then the red 4x4 burb you use to have. I like the door work. I seen it sitting at your shop on the way to Woodridges wish I could have stopped in and take a look at it. I need to go for a cruz out your way on the bike before it gets cold out if its going to get cold out this year.

Re: A few pictures of the shop Burb

I used McGaughys shocks all the way around but it could use a shock relocater kit in the rear to help straighten the angle on the rear shocks up. But they don't offer one I will have to get it somewere else. It is very close to the bump stops in the rear also. The tires are 255/70/15 all the way around the rear are just fine the front does rub a little when you are turning steep fine going straight.

So now that you have the burb, this is where your hangin out.
Don't worry I should be the proud owner of a burb if everything else works out.

Why is the roof not rusted like the the hood? Nice ride height. The whole truck looks cool.

My Sub has the same paint scheme, and did the same thing...my guess is, that the white paint on the roof reflected enough sunlight/heat to keep it from oxidizing as bad as the blue paint on the hood/fender tops...my the paint is mostly burnt through on my Sub as well. Just a theory, of course.

In TN we train our rust to only effect easily replaceable parts.

Re: A few pictures of the shop Burb

Some guys paint flames on the front end to signify a hot motor laying under the hood. This is a more realistic approach, part of the patina fad...all these guys going back and trying to make their rigs look all old and unrestored...whatever.
