i agree with not trying to use shocks to do the springs job. the shock mounts are not made to carry a load.i would use the helper bags or auxerly helper leafs or just a fresh set of springs. remember that the trailer axels are suposed to carry the weight not the truck, meaning you don't have to put the vehicleas far forward on the trailer as it will go
