Blazer looks amazing! Great work all the way around, the color is eye catching, the details are great and it looks extremely solid... Enjoy it!!!

Your Blazer has a clean look, I love that. I really like the chrome trim on the wheel edges. Where did you pick those up at? I looked in your thread, but couldn't find the info.

Re: "Slowly but Surely" Big J's build thread...
Bad news. It was nice the other night and I haven't had it out since summer. I drove it to work and on the way home a nice big doe ran out and hit me. It was a hit and run on both accounts. We both kept going, lol. I was going to tackle it but decided it will go back to the body shop for a fix. Not cheap but it will involve blending and what not so all that is beyond me. I hope it all matches up when done. I will possibly go crazy if it doesn't turn out right so be prepared,

I know its been awhile since someone has posted on this thread, but all i got to say is WOW. What a tremendous job you did on the Blazer. Over the last week i read the entire thread. Couldnt stay away from it actually. BigJ, you are a tremendous inspiration and now i cant wait to start on restoring a Blazer.

Re: "Slowly but Surely" Big J's build thread...
Got the goodies in. Not at all done yet but its in. The rear floor mat is totally wrong for the bed, I don't know what the goofball that tossed it in the box but it bums me out. I've called the place I bought it from, they are working on it.... Sent pics showing how it doesn't at all fit, short on all sides, we shall see what they do(better be sendin' me a new correct rear floor mat). The wheel well covers fit nicely and the front mat is forming to the floor. Its formed from the manufacturer but because its folded when shipped it gets all messed up. Still some trimming to do. One of the rear seat covers is on, it looks pretty cool, need to get the rest done. Still have to put the upholstery on the panels, I did buy some foam and marine grade vinyl. I also found a neat cup holder thing, made a bracket for it, works nicely. Enough blah blah blah, heres some pics.

Re: "Slowly but Surely" Big J's build thread...
More progress. My lovely wife finished up putting on the seat covers for me. They turned out sweet. Wish the yellow matched up more but oh well, can't have it all when buying online. Finished up the front floor. Maybe it will lay out better with time but right now I think it kinda sucks and wish I would have went with carpet. Got my panels upholstered too, just the one with the sub left to go. It appears that it will be a PIA and I may have to turn it into two panels.
