What's it worth?
Howdy all,
I'm a regular on the 67-72 truck board but I came across a truck today and I need some input. It's a 1961 GMC 1/2 ton with factory 4x4, factory winch, 90,000 miles and the 305 V6. The truck has been sitting a few years but has been pretty well taken care of. It has almost zero rust, a few dents on one side but otherwise very straight, original Desert Tan paint, original owners manual and decals inside the cab. It seems to run and drive pretty good, owner says the tranny, t-case and both axles have been rebuilt in the past. He has owned it for 20 years, and bought it from the original owner. He said he decoded the vin # and it was #64 of the first factory 4x4s. It does need a few things fixed, but seems to be a very solid truck. He is asking less than $2000 for it. What might it be worth? |

Jump on it !!
That's a K-10. Production numbers were only kept after 1965, but in 65 & 66 there were just over 1,000 produced each year. click here for more K-10 specs

Re: What's it worth?
OK,
I think I will go for it. I really don't need another pickup but I'd like to save it from being chopped or trashed. I may have to sell it when the wife finds out! |
