1/2 Drop or 2.5/4 drop? Which should I go with?
I have an 87 swb rolling on p265/75/15 tires. They are pretty big tires I guess. They fill the wheel wells nicely with no drop but I'd like to get it a bit lower. I'm not sure if I should just drop it an inch in the front and 2'' in the back, or, if I should drop to say a 225 or 235 and drop it 2.5'' front and 4 rear. I can't do a 2.5/4 with my current tires, that's for sure. What do you guys think? Anyone have pics of trucks with similar setups?

Bad pics but that's how it sits at the moment (gas tank door has been fixed so don't make fun of it :-) ) Those pics are months old Last edited by chevymotocross; 11-21-2007 at 09:15 PM. |

Nice truck. I wouldnt bother with only a 1"/2" drop. Drop down to maybe a 245 or 255 and go with the 2.5" drop. I have 235's on my blazer and they are way to narrow.

I would go with the 2.5 drop. Your current tires might work. I have 255/70/15 and 31x10.50x15 on mine with a 3/5 drop.
