Converting a C20 to C10

What is the difference in the spindles of a C20 compared to a C10? I was looking for wheels for my C20 and I couldnt find any I liked in eight lugs so I want to switch to the 5x5. Can I just take the C20 spindle out and put a C10 disc brake kit in? Also will the 5 lug replacement axles from CPP work on my eight lug rear end? Its a 12 bolt with 4.10s but thats all I know. I dont know the spline count.

Re: Converting a C20 to C10

Up front, you will need to swap out the balljoints and lower a-arms to use the 1/2 ton spindle. Since your truck is a '67, you should have a narrower rear axle than the later model trucks with the 5x5 axles. You can still use these with the larger HD brake drums to take up the space, or the conversion axles should work. All truck 12 bolts are 30 spline.
