...as in, flush or slightly tucked inside the fender. I thought this was most desireable.

this would be the "standard" off set for the front on our trucks. (at least as far as ones that are lowered would go). for a comparison, my truck has a 8" wide wheel with 4.5" of back spacing.

Re: What do ya'll think?

I'm tempted to skip the whole big wheel idea and just go back to what I originally wanted and get some 15" x 12" wheels with M/T drag radials. Looks like I can get the Centerline Fuel Wheel in a 15" x 12" 5-4.5" w/ a 5" backspacing & a 15" x 7" 5-5.0" w/ a 3-3/8" back spacing. Would that put the front wheels further in and look pretty narrow? What size tires would I need for the front? What about the back if I wanted to run some M/T sportsman drag radials? These wheels are new for 2007 and they weigh 11 lbs.

Your truck looks nicer than those wheels. Look into the new Billet Specialties SFI approved wheels. They're available in 15" diameters & are 'geared' toward the drag racing market so they should have a width/BS option close to what you want.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Be patient and don't "settle" for something you don't want. Just so you know, you will learn to hate any of the Centerline "convoluted" wheels. The ribs and rivets will drive you insane trying to clean and polish around them. Even if you get chrome or coated versions, they still suck just trying to wash and dry them.

Take Scoti's advice and look at the Billet Specialties wheels. These look soooo much better than the Centerlines-

Re: What do ya'll think?

Hey, it's me again. I just got the rims that i bought off that guy and thought i'd share some pics just to give you a better idea how they sit. They are 17 by 8.5" w/ 4" BS front, and 17 by 11" w/ 3.5" BS rear. They have 245/45/17 and 335/35/17 Michelin Pilot Sport rubber on them. They are pretty fat rears but i am guessing you would want bigger. I don't have a narrowed rear end so they stick out a lil hehe, but maybe this will give you an idea on some 17's?

Or do I need to get 15" x 7-1/2" w/ a 5" back spacing? What size tires would I need for the front? What about the back if I wanted to run some M/T sportsman drag radials? I need about a 30"-31" tall tire in the back with the most section width I can fit.
Can anyone help me out here, I'm wanting to order today. Thanks

*Edit* I just read that they have the M/T Sportsman S/R Radial 30'' x 12'' x 15''LT. Do these dimensions mean 30" tall tire for a 12" wide wheel and 15" diameter? If so I wonder what the section width is.
