Yeah, there was a time when we wanted the spares inside the bed, and if you were really flush, you'd have them on both sides with the tops of the tires standing above the bedsides. Then, there were folks who would have a tonneau cover made that would cover the bed AND had twin "bumps" for the twin spares you had.
Time change, huh?
