value of rebuilt tranny and transfer case
i have the opportunity to buy an engine, auto transmission and transfer case out of a 76 gmc 4x4 with 80k miles. i just want the engine but he only wants to sell all three together. the transmission supposedly has been rebuilt within the last 5k miles. what could i expect to get if i turn around and sell the tranny and transfer case?

i'm not sure of the models. the truck belongs to my friends dad and i have not actually seen it yet. did gm use a variety of automatic transmissions and transfer cases in 76? if so, is there a wide range of desireability? if there is i can try and find out the models.
i'm in kansas city btw. thanks. |
