Re: Frenched stepper short taillights?
Thanks, KayCee- the other search I did, and found almost nothing, was on tail lights. This time I did taillights and found a hole slug of good info.
Thanks,

Re: Frenched stepper short taillights?
the PO of my truck put Vega tail lights and Frenched them in. The person that done it did such a good job I've decided to leave them.
I will try and get some pics. |

Re: Frenched stepper short taillights?
That is exactly what I was hoping for. I like this a LOT more than having them just hanging out in space the way they do.
Any idea what year Vega?

Re: Frenched stepper short taillights?
I've seen '59 Caddy Bullets in a Stepper. They were frenched in with some type tubing. It's been a while since I saw that truck and i have no pics.I think there were 2 to a side.I thought it was not the best mod since the custom mod did not match the era.

Re: Frenched stepper short taillights?
I'm sorry I forgot about this tread...
I've been meaning to get better pics, so I did. The PO had them installed and at first I was going to get rid of them, but the installer done a quality job on them and I think my buddy would kill me if I did remove them.I do have some plans for them like replace the lens with a smooth one ( I have not figured out a good way yet) and build an LED setup for them. |

Re: Frenched stepper short taillights?
in custom classic trucks i saw 66 mustang tail lights frenched in the rear fenders, they looked pretty good, almost like they came factory.
