Jimmy seats in pick up?
How hard is it to swap a set of buckets from a 79 GMC Jimmy into a 79 GMC Sierra 15 pick up? My pick up has a floor hump, or higher floor level under the seats, and the Jimmy has higher seat brackets and no hump. Can I just swap the brackets?

Re: Jimmy seats in pick up?
You just need the seat tracks and brackets from a pickup that had buckets in it and they will bolt to the jimmy buckets!!I just bought a set for $250.00

used only and they are pretty tough to find. there are tons of threads on this subject use the search feature. I have a set but they are not for sale.

Re: Jimmy seats in pick up?
the other option is use the brackets from a sub and bend the rear ends up. did my first shortwide with power buckets from a suburban and the bolted right up after bending the last 3 inches up with a pipe wrench
