Re: frame length

Not sure what overall frame lengths are,

but a Blazer / Jimmy is 104" WB

and a truck is 115" WB

WB = Wheelbase

Sure but wheelbase is the nutbuster.

Do a search for board member 'Mudder', he put his 67 swb step on a later model frame.

Re: frame length

I just spoke with a guy who has done several blazers and other SWB trucks 67-72, and he claims that a blazer frame is 8 inches shorter than a SWB frame. I was thinking about buying a blazer on its frame for the body. I asked if a short bed body would bolt up on the frame. Appearently it is to long to work, thought I could use the extra frame to make me a mud truck to play with, but I guess not.
