Re: custom gauges?

I'm with you Tomsriv. Sure there are some nice looking gauges out there, but very few show any real creativity, and those that do (I'm thinking Dakota Digital) just don't turn my crank. How about something that mounts from the back (not through) so the whole face is flush and flat? There just doesn't seem to be anything that is like current OEM stuff.

I'll go digital when the whole gauge face (whole cluster) is an LCD screen that can be custom programmed to look like whatever you want. A guy I work with did this to his truck as an experiment using products we make at work, AND the gauges changed colour for day/night. Pretty neat, but I've never seen anything like it in the aftermarket.

You Chevy guys have a nice sweeping speedo that I'd want to keep if my burb weren't a GMC. The GMC gauges are round and pretty plain.
