Kudos for shopping local! It just seems that the day of the local speed shop is just about over...especially for any SBC that's not a 350 or a 383.

Also talk to your machine shop that will be doing the work for the build - many times they have great sources and pricing that's pretty consistent with what you'd pay at one of the 'net vendors.
