Re: baught a cheap sandblaster!!!
if its like the one my buddy bought out of northern tool catalogue what you do is put down a big blue tarp and let the sand dump onto that after its used to blast so that it can be used again. and it works real well we used it on my old trucks chassis

Re: bought a cheap sandblaster!!!
You should probably read up on silicosis. The sand can get into your lungs and do bad stuff.
I have a cheap sandblaster that does a great job, but hardly ever use it any more since reading about it. I need to do more reading, and see how other abrasives compare. Slonaker |

Re: bought a cheap sandblaster!!!
Sweet, $45! i might have to buy one. I will be painting my truck soon and sand blasting would "blast" right through the job!
Actually, is that a good idea? or is sand blasting to harsh for the job?

Re: bought a cheap sandblaster!!!
never sand blast body panel, frames and other parts that are thick steel will be ok but thin stell will wrap because sand blasting builds heat that in turn warps metal.
