Re: Need sum opinions on these
I think you will have a hard time running a 6 inch offset on our trucks. Most I see are 4.5 to 5.5 that will clear without issues.

Re: Need sum opinions on these
I think you are confusing backspacing with offset. A 10" wide wheel with a -6 offset means the mating surface of the wheel is -6mm off of center, which would give you a 4.76 backspacing (6mm = .24") A 10" wide wheel with 0mm offset has a backspacing of 5"

Re: Need sum opinions on these
So do ya think they will fit with a 17x8 rim and -6 offset. With 255/50/17 on front and 275/50/17 on the back.Scared to order them incase they they don't fit.Anyone got pictures of similiar setup to get an idea of how they'll look.

Re: Need sum opinions on these
The rims should fit fine, but 275/50 is pretty wide for an 8" width wheel. That tire is almost 11" wide, you will have a lot of rubber hanging out on the sides. Do they not make a 17x9.5 you could put on the rear?

Re: Need sum opinions on these
That's the same width tire, just taller. The first number is the width in millimeters so to convert to inches divide by 25.4. The second number is the sidewall height as a percentage of the width. So, a 275/55 is:
275/25.4 = 10.83 inches wide and 10.83 x 55% = 5.95 inch sidewall the 275/50 = 5.42 inch sidewall If you already knew that, then ignore this post

Re: Need sum opinions on these
K thanks Mahanian,I didn't really no that. You got anyother tire combos that would look good without goin to a 9.5 wide wheel.

Re: Need sum opinions on these
Since you aren't staggering the wheels, meaning different widths front to back or different diameters front to back, I'd run the same size tire all the way around. 255/50 or 255/55 on 17" wheels would look good with a 4/6 drop. There are a couple threads of members posting pics of their wheel/drop combos, those might be helpful

Re: Need sum opinions on these
It has been my experience that the only way to tell how wide and tall a tire is is by measuring it with a tape. Every manufacturer's tires are different. I always like to see them in person and measure them before buying tires.
