pg column

Will a pg column work with a th350? I know the gear indicator will need to be changed and I`m going to run a Kugal shift linkage. Can i use a indicator from a 67-72 for the 3 spds? Another member has a column froma 62 and I want to make sure it will work. Thanks.

Re: pg column

I used the original PG column in my '66 Burb with the T400.....works just fine. I thought about changing the indicator but never have.....1st is just below the L a little. I don't know for sure if the indicator from a '67-'72 will work or not.....looks like it would.

pg= power glide. the old 2 speed automatic. Since the th350 tranny didn`t come out till 67 I didn`t know if the column would work with a 3 spd auto since it onle came with a 2spd auto.

Yes it will work. I have one in my truck with the 700 r4. I used Lokars rod linkage, works great!!
