I would support the bottom so that it doesn't sag over time. You could also lean the tank down in the front to prevent the fuel sloshing issue. Although, when your low on gas it's not a good time to step on it anyway..... I don't think it's an issue...
I thought about that tank but don't want to have to modify the opening, I have a wood floor so the filler cant be in the center either
