80 c10 tow mater

Hello. I've been watching these boards for awhile now and I finally decided to chime in. My neighbor sold me this sweet deal for 1500. His wife forced him to sell because he has too many cars.

Its a 1980 C10. LT1 from 94 Camaro. powder coated everything. and a few other things that i'll be writing about later. this weekend, i ripped out the interior. tomorrow i'll be ripping out the 6 thats in there now.

the plan is to move the body onto that chassis. i want to paint it the same color. my son has a tow mater (a character from the movie cars) and he wants me to keep it that same color. so thats the theme i'm going for.

Sweet job on the frame and engine!! I wish I had time to do the same on my truck.

thats a steal. That truck is gonna be sweet. seems to sit real high on its current frame. Digging the wheels and tires....

I like the color choice with the dark tint it really pops
