Thanks for the replies.

All I have ever used is AC Delco wires but I do not like the carbon impregnated cord construction. The Delco wires on the truck are 15 years old and are light gray in color just like the plug wires that came from the factory. These plug wires measured from 3,000 to 11,000 ohmes when new.

Eight years ago I purchased a set of AC Delco wires that are dark gray with yellow printing that says:
“AC-Delco-Packard Delcore Electronic Supression-8MM 1Q00”.
The resistance of these wires is higher than any other new wire I have ever measured 8,000 to 20,000 ohmes.

Surely some one sells wires that look and fit like the factory wires but use lower resistance wire.
