Truck Pictures!
I finally got her washed and waxed today - cleans up pretty good for a work truck. Also a shot of the interior that I completely redid. The console I built myself...

Re: Truck Pictures!
Looks good. What color is that? It almost looks like a butter scotch color...
Now that everyone is posting new pics of their trucks mean that I have to get off my duff and detail the truck again so I can take some new ones...

I love the truck. I put a crate motor in it recently, and I can pretty much rip the tires off at a atop light now. I'm still wanting to get rid of a bunch of the smog stuff on it and put in a new exhaust, but that can wait for a bit. It's great - very solid on the road. @Palf70Step: The seats are some racing style seats I got online (Jegs? Can't remember...) and they are great. Very comfortable. Very little modifications to the seat bracket - a 3" side extension and a couple of extra holes drilled. The console I made from 3/4in ply, and has two main compartments. The lid can be used as a jump seat in a pinch.

Re: Truck Pictures!
Nice work! Getting rid of the smog stuff is relatively easy, but you live in Cali. Don't you guys HAVE to keep it on?

Re: Truck Pictures!
Perfect!!! That was exactly what I was looking for thank you. It’s pretty close to the shade I want too. I hope to paint mine within the next year or so but I have some house projects to finish first. What shade is that if you don’t mind me asking.
1975 is the oldest car you have to smog in CA.

Re: Truck Pictures!
Thanks for the nice comments! It's turning out to be a really great truck. As far as the color, the closest I can come up with is something like Sunny Yellow, or School Bus Yellow, depending on the guide I look at.
The thing is, it changes color depending on the angle you look at it so there may be some undercoat I don't know about. (I didn't paint it.) I think so? It's a GMC Custom and it didn't have a lot of the options, but the sticker is gone from the glove box, so it's hard to tell. Dropped90Burb had it before me, and he got it from someone else. I think it's been modified a bit.
