Re: Clutch pivot ball

Off the shelf at you local parts dealer. I got one at Napa.

There are at least two different lengths. My 230L6 used the short one. I needed the long one to work with a 350V8. On the V8 it mounts directly to the block, not a bracket like the L6. Even though my 350 came out of an auto-tranny setup, it had the hole present, drilled and tapped and ready to go.

Re: Clutch pivot ball

I got mine from Obsolete Chevrolet in Georgia or something like that.

Are they still in business or are they obsolete?

I just my pivot ball and arm back on yesterday. One time I pulled my engine and I found that my pivot stud was broken! It was still shifting fine though.
