Re: blower install
keep the old parts. keep everything you can from everybodys car you work on and your own.
you never know when a tailpipe off a ford focus will be the right bend for the christmas tree stand that breaks. there's so many redneck things to do with old parts, but alot of good things too. and my first post on your truck, looks bad ass and now i want a little blower but i was wondering if you have to use premium fuel with that. what octane do you run? Re: blower install
with 6 pounds of boost I can get away with 91 if I turn the boost controler up to 2.5 but 93 I can turn it down to 1 and it realy cranks if you do that

Re: blower install
Nice setup when you put the MSD timing control how far can you advance and retard. On my truck if I unhook the vac advance and move it to about 35 deg it does not fall on it face but it wont start. I need about 35 deg advancement with a timing curve. I thought about buying a MSD dist and timing control to help. But know I like the blower set up.

Re: blower install
The exaust system is kinda homade, it just an x pipe kit and a bunch of pre mandral bent 3 inch tubbing that my brother ordered from advanced auto he ordered like 10 diffrent bends, 45's 90's S bends and he orderd double of everthing and we will use the ones that we need and he will return the others forme, one of the only reasons he can stand to still work there is for the ability to take complete advantage of the place.
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku I think I'm somwhere around 15 intial advance but the vac advance is not hooked up, the MSD takes care of retard but not advance I think they would fight each other if they were hooked up at the same time but I'm not sure but it's running realy good now and I'm hoping to get it to the dyno when the exaust is done.

Re: blower install
oh heres my headers and they were a ***** to put in and it's not real ceramic coating dont let summit lie to you like they did to me it's a special paint I think. We will see how good the coating last after I'm done with my exaust. If I were to do it it again I would have never cancled my hookers that were on back order like 2 months ago

Re: blower install
The 6BTM is basically a 6al box with the boost retard function built in...little over $400.
MSD has a couple other options that are less including a stand alone boost retard and another that requires a 6 series box. check Summit or Jegs out.
