Brake lines
Can someone tell me the size of the hard lines. I ordered some tubing from jegs, but before I start bending I wanted to make sure I bought the right size. I know the original lines ran on the passenger side of the frame. Would it matter if I ran them on the driver side? I figured if I ran them on the driver side only 1 would have to be bent under the engine.

Re: Brake lines
3/16" for the front and 1/4" for the rear. As far as the routing on the D/S, it shouldn't matter. I've swapped over to disk in the front on my 69' Stepper and will be running all new hardlines. I may very well run mine on the D/S also.

Re: Brake lines
Thanks for the quick responce, I really need to get busy with the lines. I plan on sending the cab, bed and other parts to the body shop soon. I want all that mess finished before I do.

Re: Brake lines
Cab off the truck? Definetly! Your probably down to the frame. If so, while running those new brake lines, time to clean that frame up. Sounds like your on the right track. Good luck with your project.

Re: Brake lines
I cleaned it a little... I was trying to post a few up to date pictures but I'm having a problem. Let me see if I can get them to post.
