Re: gauge question
Some trucks had just the "IDIOT "lights while others had full gauge clusters that included either a large tach to the far right and the fuel gauge in the lower left corner or no tach with either a battery light in the lower left corner or even a clock on some models.
The larger heavy duty trucks like the C60 & C70's had a combination tach/fuel gauge with either a vacuum gauge or an air pressure gauge in the lower left corner. If you currently have the idiot lights in your truck and are wishing to upgrade to gauges you will need to replace the sending units for your oil pressure and water temperature for ones that are compatible with gauges. Also you MIGHT HAVE TO re-pin your wiring harness where it plugs into your instrument cluster. Here's a few links to other threads on here that cover swapping the gauges around. There are lots of others as well, these are just a few. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=286458 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=2757534 Plus my own mods I did listed in my signature at the bottom. Any questions just ask and myself or someone on here will be able to answer them for you. Dave
