Aftermarket Guages???
I have seen some pictures with some of our trucks with after market guages in them such as oil, volts, and temp. I was wondering what size to look for and if there is a special way to install them or rig them. I havent looked at mine too well and am going to be putting in a rebuilt engine and transmission and was wondering how hard it would be to do that at the same time.
Thanks in advance. Jerr ------------------ New Project

69 Custom,
Check out my web page. I have digital guages in my truck. One option is to remove the clock and install a transmission oil temp guage. This one of my options as I continue to restore my truck. The guages fit perfect behind the factory bezel. Its a little work to rewire all the guages but the look is worth it. I get compliments all the time. Here is a short cut to the guage pics. http://www.geocities.com/abetterchemist/cab.html ------------------ Gerardo 1983 Custom Truck TX Plates: "BAD BOW" http://www.geocities.com/abetterchemist/ |

My Autometer Pro-Comps are 2-5/8" fuel level, water temp, voltmeter, and oil pressure. The tach and speedo are 5".

Swervin, I really like that look of your guages. Real sharp IMO.
