How much drop?
How much of a drop in the rear does it take to get the axle to the frame? I am going to oreder rear springs for my 65 but I don't want to get to short of spring and be on the stops but then again I don't want it up in the air. I want the axle at the bottom of the frame at ride height. I will be putting a suicide doors bolt on notch on for clearence. I also have 2" blocks on the rear so I was thinking 4" springs for a total of 6" drop.

6" Springs + 2" Blocks should get you where you want to be. The suicidedoors notch will not work- you will need one designed for the contoured frame. CPP, ART and McGaughy's offer bolt-ins for your frame.

Ok and I also realized I can only go about 1" lower before I hit the bed floor so I am undecided if I'm going to take the time to raise the bed floor or what. Thanks

So 8" of total drop for the rear will set me where it is at now on the bumps with half trimmed?

I would start with the 6" drop springs and tweak it from there using blocks to suit your taste.
