What PSI are you airbagers runnin?

I just installed my rear airbags. THAT WAS FUN> Sheesh. Cutting a hole for the dang airnozzle to fit was hectic. ahaha... I have the RE7 slams. They are a 200psi bag. What air pressure are you guys running in these? I put 25lbs in (beds off the truck) and that seemed like alot.

I really have no idea how much PSI to run. Any help???

I just have the helper rear bags and I have 15 PSI in them. LWB and it hasn't bottom out since. That's what I was wanting too!

From what I have read here about 75 in the front and 35 in the rear. This is typically what I run with a decent ride but I am still experementing. However, the front is MUCH higher than the rear with the pressures above (no drop spindles). Working on some new lower arms to help solve that problem, then see how things sit.

There is much less weight in the rear than in the front, hence the drastic pressure differences, and in your case with no bed its going to be even more dramatic.

Interested to hear what others are doing....

i hate to say it but its all just a personal preference... no one set pressure is gonna be right for everyone. just play around with it till it "feels" good. every truck ive ever bagged is different

I agree with lowriden58, every instl. is diferent, but you should inflate to "what ever" PSI to achieve proper instld. ride height of the bag. Then you can make "minor" adjustments to suit your ride comfort level. You need to stay close to the "instld." ride height of the bag to insure proper suspension travel (bounce & rebound)

So, i can run 120 lbs in the rear if i wanted. Its a 200 psi bag.... WIth my bags mounted, and 20psi in the bags, it sits about 1.5 inches lower then it did before. So i need to either add more air to get the rear back up, or make another plate to get the rear up... I will have pics in my build thread soon...

well like it was said before you will run less PSI in the rear for sure cuz its lighter, the more air you run the stiffer the ride. you prolly wont use more than 40-50 at most in the rear but its all in preference to your ride height/comfort level.

But they really will hold 200 psi?????? I put 30 in and its stiff. ahah Nervous to go any higher...

They will probably hold that but how are you going to generate that kind of pressure? If you put more than a 150 to it any air fitting connection you have installed that isn't perfect may not hold up...

For actual driving I run about 50 in the rear, any more than that and there is very little actual suspension movement making for a very rough ride.

ahhhh, good to know... I think at 50psi i will be where i want. At 30psi im at stock, stock being 5 inch drop where the springs had me.
