hydraulic clutch
What was the first year for the hydraulic clutch in these trucks? And can I put one in my '83 with SM465? I saw an '86 w/SM465 this weekend with an original hydraulic clutch, it felt a whole lot better than my manual clutch. Anyone tried to put one on an older truck?
Thanks ------------------

I am putting one in mine using the original pieces, except for the actuator and the bellhousing. I haven't thoroughly researched it yet, but it WOULD go easier if you got the pedal setup for the hydraulic stuff. And yes, you can retro fit anything, the cab never changed other than a few small differences. If I remember correctly, the first year was 1984, but I will have to check....
