Re: HEI Troubleshoot
Well after several calls to the Accel tech help, which really wasn't all that helpful, I replaced the coil. I had checked the orginal coil and found that the resistances were within the manufactuer's recommendations. I called them back to see what the next step in trouble shooting the ignition and he they flip-floped and said that the coil could still be bad even if it had checked out with the ohmeter. So I got a new coil assemebly, put it in and wala, it starts up. Now with only about two weeks of good driving weather left I have my blazer back. You can believe me though I will be driving it to work in 40 degree weather all bundled up, just to drive it home in the 70 degree evening.
Thanks for all the help guys |
