Pics of my collection

Ya'll busted on me for no photos, so I'll try to show tha collection. By the way, this my 4th time trying to post pic's, it is a PITA First find the FAQ, then try to find the allowed size, then actually editing the photos to 642 pixels, losing all quality. Then the file size limit. Then trying to attach files on dial up. And I still haven't fiured out how to put text in between the photos, or get them in the order I want.

Enough whining, here they are.
First is the running 1987 Chevy half ton, 6.2 auto and all the options including posi.
Next is the 1981 GMC my dad purchased new, 250 /3OTT / 14bolt Gov-lock and no other options including no rear bumper or spare. He got red (carmine) because Mom whined about both 67 Chevy and 69 pickup being blue. I tried to pull this truck out of the weeds today, the trans and brakes are apparently rusted up solid. Couldn't move it with the tractor.
Next is my 82 GMC half ton, a $500 Craigslist find, no motor trans or drivesahft, but a very solid cab and frame
Next is my newest acquisiton, a 1984 GMC half ton, 250/350C, missing some (well, all)sheet metal.
Finally the 87 GMC 2 ton, 366/5speed PTO (was ex-contractor dump). See the red door? That's off the 81, the bull decided he didn't like the truck one day and crushed in both doors. I swapped it out because the 2 ton has windows that work. TOwed this out of the weeds today using the diesel and a tractor, was hard to move with one flat tire and rusty brakes. It seems that I will never get to making it into a car hauler.

Oh, I have 2 spare seats, a 90 Burb front, an 86 front clip,3 L6's, couple of 700's...and a 455 buick or two if I get too bored.

Re: Pics of my collection

So, what are you using as a server to post your pictures on?

You should be able to put the code in for the pic and hit the return key a couple times to start a new line thus putting a space between pkcs just as if you were typing a letter in a word processor.

lotsa trucks there though!!!

Re: Pics of my collection

Quite a fleet there, Do you plan on building a hauler out of the big one ?

I use Photo Bucket for all pics, You can upload them there in any size you like then just post the image code link to get them up. It works ok on my dial-up.

Re: Pics of my collection

Not using a server, these are attachements. Server hosting will be my next process. It's funny, I have an associates in Computer Technology, I understand how they work inside, but this whole internet thing is still iffy to me.

I was going to make a hauler for my tractors (I have 4) but realized that by time I finish I'll be dead (LMAO)! So I'll probably just sell it, or strip it for parts. A lot of the pieces are direct interchange to the smaller trucks, and there are some things that would be neat. Like the back window - it-s smaller than on a pickup. Anyne else got a small rear window square body? hmmmm.....

Re: Pics of my collection

The only thing I don't like about photobucket is that they tend to shuffle their pics after a few months. That really sucks when you're checking out archived threads and the pictures are moved and/or deleted.

I use tinypic.
