Chevy Suburban 1978
So I have a question!
Can anyone tell me what this is (see pictures) and if it is possible to remove it from the engine/exhaust? Greetz Jo

second pick is a temp controlled vacuum lines i think. dont have that stuf in my burb. not sure about the first pick, maybe a vent or some kind of smog crap.

Last pic is the thermo-controlled vacuum valve. It's supposed to block vacuum to the distributor when the engine is cold.
First two pics, I have never seen that thing before... Where does the other end go to? Fuel tank or transmission, maybe?

I took both off my 80. No problems.
First pic is an EFE valve. Emissions item designed to route exhaust gases to the base of the carb. - Dave
