Re: GMC Model Year Info
Jimmys had no weight class designation on it`s badges.GMC was more utilitarian with their badges and used the same one from the "750" (I get your logic) to the 9500 with an insert to designate the model. The Jimmy is the only one with no number designated. So,who knows?
A blazer is as much a K/10 as a Jimmy is a K1500,right? So,I always use K/5 when talking about either to not leave Jimmy out. These are always refered to as Blazers or,like what I used to say,Blazers & Jimmys.I figure K/5 covers both. It`s like with the trucks. When talking about K/20s and K2500s I just say 3/4t 4wd so to not leave the GMCs out, usually.
