Ok guys whats the trick?

Air Hammer - 0 / Rusty Fender bolts - 1

I tried the ole air hammer on these bolts because they were an impossible move, I got one to break off and was really excited, sharpened my air hammer bit... and 20 mins later despite the earplugs I was def and the bolt was still staring at me... I think they are made of adamantium or something.....

So whats faster? Air hammer? or grinder?

These are rear fenders btw... fronts were a breeze.

Bolts on the frame or heavy gauge steel I use a sharp chisel to knock the head off then a punch to drive it through. BTW the chisel is about 18 long and the punch is 16/18". For the fender bolts I use a grinder and punch.

Grinder and a punch sounds like the trick. I just fear grinding through the back fender well bolt wall but I guess as my mother used to tell me "Then be careful"

Hot wrench? Maybe you can shine some light on that for me. unless you're talking about the torch and torque.

yes the torch actually i have just a small bottle of map gas that use and it works everytime for me

Heat preferably on the nut mostly, but it helps on either and a shot of penetrating type oil, and/or tighten them til they shear off. Sometimes they fight...

made some decent progress tonight ended up grinding off and tapping them out, clean job, some were a pain kinda welding themselves in there, but all worked out good.

Grinding is usually the best route to go. I hate grinding but as long as sparks are flying you know you are making progress.
