Post Blazer/Truck body swap....

Hey Guys,
I have a '79 Blazer w/ 400 SB, TH-400, NP-203, A/C, P/S, P/B, Tach, P/W, P/L, and oh yeah, a rusted top, quarters, etc. But I also have an' 83 C-10 P/U w/ a good body, so I'm thinking of swapping the newer cab/front clip onto the Blazer chassis. Anyone know of any problems that may arise? I'm doing away w/ the A/C, P/W, P/L in the process and will utilize a small flatbed. Thanks!

I think they have dif. frames. I had a 1984 blazer and the wheel base was shorter/longer then the swb truck. I really don't remember but I think there is a dif.

shepherm,
I know the wheelbases are different, that's why I said that I was going to use a small flat-bed behind the cab. The Blazer frame is much shorter than even the SWB trucks, but I'm going to use this Blazer-hybris off-road mainly.
Thanks!

DOC, there are no REAL problems with this as you are changing cab& clip which makes the swap much easier. there is a slight mod to the front of the frame so you can mount the newer style bumper. Once you look at both you'll be able to figure it out.An air whizzer or sawzall will do it.may have to drill a hole or two , no biggy,DAVE
