Which door seals?

I'm putting together an order over at classicparts.com, and I'm looking at the weatherseals for the doors. I see two different things, the door rubbers seals (03-011) and cab windlace rubber (03-106). Do you need both, or one, and if one, which?

TheQuicksilver, I don't know if you ever found the answer to your question, but, the door rubbers seals are a long seal that is glued to your door to keep out water. The cab windlace rubber is mounted in your cab aroung the door area. It mounts in a track on the inside of your cab. Look around the door area (in the cab) you will see a metal track around the door opening. It's used to keep the wind noise out at driving speeds, and I guess to help keep out water too. I'd say you need them both. I bought them both, I havn't installed the cab windlace rubber yet, nor have I drove the truck, or washed it. So, I can really say if it makes a difference in keeping out water or wind noise. I'm sure someone can answer this question for you if it's really needed. I'd say buy them both. There not to expensive.

There are two different windlaces. The early style that is held on with a metal strip that screws on the inside edge of the door opening and the later style as sgtusmc mentioned that has the groove that holds the rubber.
The early style is/was fabric over a rubber bead. Guys with custom trucks with this style often have the upholstry shop match the cover material to the interior.
The intended purpose of the windlace is to keep the wind noise down and the wind out in conjunction with the weatherstrip.

All rubber seals are not equal!
With that said I would look at Steele Rubber as there product fits well and works well.
