Bed Interchangeability

I was wondering if other generation chevy trucks boxes' are just like the 60-66. More specifically, save for fenders, are step side beds from 67-72 trucks the same? How about 55-59? Are the fenders on the 55-59 the same too? They look pretty close.

The step side bed fenders and possibly the beds from 55 2nd series to 66' I believe are the same. The tailgates from 58-66 fleets are the same and the 67-72's beds are the same.
