Foose Spank 8 lug - will they fit?

Yo! Y'all!
So I've got this once in a lifetime chance at some new Foose Spank 8 lug wheels (discontinued, by the way!) for dirt cheap,...BUT my '78 3/4 ton 4x4 has Warn locking hubs up front, so I'd need to bore the caps, buy different ones, or run no caps at all. THAT doesn't bother me.
FRANKENTRUCK ALSO has a full-floating 5560lb rated rear axle and the eight bolt center hubs (axle ends) protrude. My question to all of you is: does anybody know for sure if the Foose Spank wheels and caps will clear my full-floating rear axle hub? I could run no center cap in the rear also, if that will solve the problem,...caps I don't really need, but I'd sure like to have these Foose Spanks! Thanks in advance for your help! Todd.

You are going to have to have the current owner measure the bore of the center holes. You might be able to contact the manufacturer of Foose wheels to get the specs, but your best bet is to get actual measurements.

Re: Foose Spank 8 lug - will they fit?

Yo! N2TRUX!
Thanks! It's just as I suspected, and that's why I took the measurements tonight (damn it was cold out there,...and dark too!). What is the proper way to measure the bolt pattern on the eight bolt rims? I know five lug wheels well, but I'm not as familiar with the six and eight bolt patterns. I measured center to center on adjacent holes, finding them 64mm, or 2.5", apart (leading edge to leading edge of two adjacent holes). Just to be safe, I measured across the pattern finding those holes 165mm, or 6.5 ", apart center to center.
The rear hubs are 115mm, or 4.5", in diameter,...fronts must be the same since both hubs fill the center holes in the stock rims.
So, what's the proper way to refer to this bolt pattern in numbers? Are there different eight bolt patterns? Thanks, guys!! Todd.

Re: Foose Spank 8 lug - will they fit?

Yo! N2TRUX!
Thank you for the help,...I called the fellow in Colorado Springs this AM. The Foose Spank 8x17s are a measured 8x6.5" pattern, and the centerhole is oversized to accomodate any hub and the trim caps. Sounds like I'm on a 300 mile roadtrip tomorrow! I'll post a pic ASAP whenever I actually get rubber on these wheels and get them on FRANKENTRUCK.
Again, thank you. This is exactly why I was so ready to support this forum! I've received so much help from so many great folks!
Todd.
