I spent the first 7 years of my adult life towing 70 ton tanks with a 56 ton recovery vehicle in the army... As long as the driver knows what he/she is doing, and doesn't forget whats back there... you should have no problems at all.

one tons tow fine. Granted, the one in question weights a little more than mine does, but none the less. Here's my '70 one ton on a tow bar being pulled by longhorn jeff's '87 k/5 back in 2002.
