Dumb question for Smart People!

What the heck is this pedal close to the door jam in the floor of this truck for?

Yep that is the Park/emergency brake. It connects to a rod or cable under the cab that connects to the cross bar in the frame where it connects to the individual cables on the rear end.

Thanks guys, I don't get to pick up my truck until the end of the month when the current owner comes back into town... This is why I asked as I can't see it 120 miles away...
