Well I finaly got my universal parts store ignition wired up and my truck cranks but wont fire and start yet as soon as I stop using that switch and use my stock ignition (in a elcamino column that dosen't fit too short) it fires right up shut it off try again with the parts store universal ignition switch and it goes back to cranking? Is there something that gives power to the "coil"? I don't have a coil seeing as I have a electronic type distributer .
I am getting really frusterated with this I just about put it on a trailer to go scrap it but relized I was being irrational.
