Re: Details

A "custom" trick I discovered back in my younger days . A bottle cap will snap right over the vent window button and stay there without any kind of adhesive.

Re: Details

These are exactly the kind of things i was thinking about. They are do it yourself little touches that make the ride yours. They are the kind of things I notice at shows and they can be the things that make one ride stand out.

Heres my "custom" part. Piston out of a 5hp Briggs lawnmower, CNC engraved the 4X4 shift pattern on it.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Cool idea 67_C-30. do you have any more knobs like that? i'd like to have a pair (one for the lights, and one for the wiper).

Re: Details

Made a panel to fit in the stock center console to hold the airride switches and gauge.. Kinda hard to see in pic but you can get the idea.. And my bed floor had some dents and I didn't want to do the bodywork so I took some wood and cut it to fit then covered it in black vinyl.. Then I made pieces for the sides to tie it all in..

I'm going to try to do another batch of them pretty soon. I did 10 sets when I did mine and sold them on here in about a day! I'll PM you when I make more of them.

Re: Details

And the other was after shavin doors the idea of not making new interior door panels and maintain the stockish chrome ones. Simply by reinstalling the stock hardware in the door for the release system so it didn't interfer with the electric solenoids. Saved the costs of interior electrical switches and the redesign of the panels.
