I have an 87 silverado r-10. How hard is a small block to big block swap including hoses and wiring/computer?

Re: swap
Goble
To swap in BBC you'll need BBC TBI, radiator, etc. Same 1227747 ECM was used to control some BBC TBI applications, but EPROM is different. Also BBC TBI is bigger (52mm vs. 47) and used 90 lb/HR vs. 62 lb/HR injectors used with 350 CID TB. Harness is the same. Find a complete BBC donor and do a direct swap - this will make your swap easier. Also, heavy duty BBC did not use knock sensor (KS) - these HD applications used 1228747 ECM. 1228747 had a very conservative spark advance to keep engine from pinging (no KS ) //RF
