Pull the steering wheel and then there should be a black plastic cover over the locking plate . The plate meay have to come off but I do not remember . The turn signal rod just has a screw holding it to the turn signal switch . You will needd a puller to remove the wheel . I have sen them come off by pulling real hard on the wheel and tapping the center stud with a hammer but it will result in a nosebleed or worse when it lets loose .
