Doetsch Teck DT4231G replacement shock

i need to replace one shock on my lowered 68 truck and i can't seem to find one to buy. I searched on the internet and found a part number close but am not sure if it is the same and Doetsch just changed the part number. The other three are brand new and I think they are the nitrogen ones. The shock is on the rear and is a Doetsch Teck DT4231G needed.

I bought the truck as a disassembled mess for $400 and put it together.
its hugger orange, lowered 4 - 3 with springs. the frame was sandblasted and painted eastwood black with all new SS brakelines, new frontend, brakes 12 bolt rear, cab supports and all the rubber mounts, decent bed. I am building a 400 sbc for it now, it currently has a mildly hot 305 attached to a rebuilt 350 with a shift kit. i'll put up a pic at a later time. PS i also have lots of parts for these as i have cut up and parted out a couple of them.

re $44 bux each. She's checking their stock and will call me back! Wo0t Wo0t!!! Anyone got any coupons or online deals on them? Or is there a source for them at a cheaper rate?

I just spoke with them and they shipped it yesterday.
I installed the other three correctly.
They sell shock reloaction kits. but i just fabbed up some on my own.
Take a piece of 2 inch box tube, not thin crap either, use a decent gauge wall thickness, and cut it at 35 degreez. the angle cut is what follows the inside of the frame rail. drill your hole for the shock mounting bolt on the longes side of the piece. Weld it to the top of the frame and mount your shock with the original bolts. I will post pics when i find my camera again.

as for the rear shock mounts the plates they sell you are identical to the factory ones.... cut down and mount holes relocated. I cut mine down and redrilled the holes while they were still on the car. I did have to grind the little ear on the shock down a bit. This came down to a whats more important call..... the shock or the structural ridgitiy of the shock mount frame bracket. the bracket won. This gives the rear shocks 3 inches of travel which should be sufficient for now given the rubber bumpers are still installed and the axle and frame will be somewhere around touching at full load. to test this i will load the bed with firewood and visually check it when its bottomed out............ this is my version of redneck mechanics.
