Re: 4 link question

Im not too sure about the 14 inch wide wheels I can tell you though for a 4 link kit you can go with 1 of suicide doors kits or get a hold of Nathan at Porterbuilt Streetrods. I havent heard or seen n e body using 14 inch wide wheels on a stepper. I have a buddy that was running a 12 inch on a fleetside and stock suspension.

Re: 4 link question

I'm not sure about a 70 but if it helps I have 14" wide rims on my 84 with a 48" wide axle housing. My frame is not narrowed just the axle. I think it all depends on how low you want your truck. My 9" rear with ladder bars is for sale, PM me if you are interested in more details.

Re: 4 link question

Does your truck have leaf springs? My uncle built a 2WD blazer back in the day with 21" wide MT tires under the back, with stock frame rails. It had a custom length 9", but they inboarded the rear leafs so that sat inside the stock frame rail. Turned out pretty good. Widened the stock tubs too.

And I have no pictures, was a while back. I was sweeping floors then.
