Cool! 5 window task force.
I have only seen one of these before, it would be sweet to put the cab on a pick up chassis. Not mine but cool. http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/pts/1083045178.html

Re: Cool! 5 window task force.
There was a motorhome chassis for sale over here that that would sit on and make a dandy car hauler.
A rare bird and it would be a good one for the big rig fans to restore. |

Re: Cool! 5 window task force.
It is close to me but I have all my $ tied up in my building. I have never seen one but what a cool cruise/parade truck for a 5th wheel maybe. 500 ci six! TOO tempting...

Re: Cool! 5 window task force.
It's listed as a 59. I've never seen a 59 with single headlights. and a 503? I thought gmc's big 6 was a 302. I'm not douting him he sounds like he's owend it for a while. I guess I've just got more to study on. I would hate to call up someplace and try to buy an opry window for a TF truck. you might get laughed at.

Re: Cool! 5 window task force.
That's cool. When I first got my 57 it had a small window and I thought about making it a 5 window but didn't think it could be done.
I didn't know the factory had made some that way and I ended up getting a good price on a big window cab. Kim |

Re: Cool! 5 window task force.
The 302 was the big boy of the 256, 270 and 302 inline 6 family. I've found that there is also a bigger family that was a 426 and 503 straight liners. yes ford made a 302 and dodge made a 426.
