'49 chevy door latch replacement?
I'm trying to put newer door latches in Project "49 No Buck$" but I'm not sure if there is an easier way. It looks like I need to remove the window track to get it out. Is that how it works? Thanks, Brad

Re: '49 chevy door latch replacement
i'm doing the same thing, and yeah, that seems like the only way to get it out.
if you don't already have the "clutch driver" tool for the screws holding everything in, Napa carries them. I searched autozone, sears and northern tool before i found it at Napa. |

Re: '49 chevy door latch replacement
Jim Carter has them too. Three piece set that fits all the clutch head screws on our trucks.
